The Leibniz Institute of European History (IEG) is awarding one fellowship for a period of six to eight months for international doctoral students in the field of Digital Humanities. The fellowship supports international doctoral students who wish to carry out their own research project using Digital Humanities methods. Your research should be connected to aspects of the institute’s research programme, on "Negotiating differences in Europe". Scholars from the humanities with a historical focus who use digital methods for their projects are also invited to apply for the fellowship.


The monthly stipend is € 1,350. Proficiency in English and German is required in order to participate in discussions at the Institute.
