Nabídka měsíčních stipendijních pobytů na Universität Wien v roce 2022

Partnerská Univerzita Vídeň nabízí 4 jednoměsíční stipendia pro mladé vědce (tj. PhD studenty a post-doc pracovníky) v roce 2022.

Výše stipendia činí 1.000 €. Nástup u těchto pobytů je možný od poloviny dubna (po velikonocích) – prosinec 2022. Ubytování si vybraní kandidáti musí zajistit sami.

Zájemci si musí předem dojednat svůj výzkumný pobyt s vídeňským akademickým partnerem (supervisorem), kterého lze nalézt zde. Uchazeč se partnerovi představí a přiloží stručný životopis a popis plánovaného výzkumného pobytu. Uvede, že pokud bude Univerzitou Karlovou nominován, obdrží od Univerzity Vídeň měsíční stipendium. Zájemce si rovněž předem dojedná termín případného pobytu. Vědecký partner vystaví příslib přijetí (acceptance letter of a supervisor), který zájemce předloží společně s následujícími dokumenty v anglickém jazyce:

• Seznam publikací

• Stručná bibliografie vztahující se k výzkumnému tématu

• Podrobný popis výzkumného pobytu a jeho cíle

• Doporučující dopis z UK a studijní průměr z předešlého studia

• Předběžný příslib přijetí od vídeňského pedagoga (acceptance letter of a supervisor)

Uzávěrka pro podávání přihlášek: 17. 1. 2022 do 12:00. Všechny dokumenty je třeba odeslat nejpozději v čas uzávěrky na zahraniční oddělení FHS UK.

One-month scholarships at the University of Vienna in 2022

University of Vienna is offering 4 one-month academic stays suitable for PhD students and postdocs within the framework of interuniversity cooperation. The academic stays are to scheduled for April (after the Easter holidays) – December 2022.

Please, note that all candidates will be responsible for arranging accommodation for the academic stay on their own. Each successful candidate is eligible to receive 1.000 € scholarship per month.

Candidates shall agree on the details of their academic stay with their respective academic partner (i.e. supervisor); you can also find your own academic partner here.

Each candidate is supposed to provide their academic partner with a brief personal introduction and enclose the description of the academic stay. Moreover, each candidate shall inform their respective academic partner about the one-month scholarship claim (if applicable) and arrange the term of the eventual academic stay beforehand. The academic partner will subsequently issue the Acceptance letter of a supervisor; please note that this letter has to be enclosed along with the other following attachments (in English):

• Standardized Curriculum Vitae

• List of publications

• Short bibliography related to the research topic

• Detailed description of the research project and its main purpose

• Recommendation letter from the CU and grade point average from the previous study

• Pre-acceptance letter from the University in Vienna (acceptance letter of an academic supervisor)
