University of Wrocław has announced a call for doctoral students within the frame of the PROM programme financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange. The call is open for a total of 25 incoming PhD students.

The aim of the visit may be active taking part in conferences, conductive archive/library queries; gathering materials for a doctoral thesis/scientific article, participation in short forms of education, i.e. courses, workshops, professional or industrial internships, study visits; participating in other short education forms aiming at increasing competences of the project participant.

The length of the visit may be from 5 up to 30 days. The program covers costs of travel and living allowance as given in the regulations on pages 35-37 of the PROM programme.

The selected candidates will get the grant upon arrival to Wrocław and signing the financial agreement.

Send your application to - it should include a motivation letter, contact details of the incoming student along with an e-mail address, proof of English or Polish proficiency (does not apply to native speakers of these languages), contact details of the contact person from UWr, and a copy of passport, if the incoming student needs an entry visa to Poland.
